Make sure to calculate a category fee for each of the product you sell, you might make less or more money if you do same % for everything.

For example, 'DVDs, Films & TV' category has 8% final value fee in UK whereas 'Crafts' is at 11%.

3% can make a huge difference especially if a lot of your items are in these categories.

I use 10% for ebay fees as this will cover most categories. dont get caught out with that

if you are selling on ebay UK they have been charging 20% VAT on fees since August 2017. which means where before we would have been charged 10% final value fees we are now being charged 12% this covers most categories apart from pets. The pet category is higher so you must allow for at least 13-14% if you want to list in that one.
Take your items and make sure those percentages are leaving you with a profit by comparing it to this profit calculator. Someone else may have a better answer but this is what I do to make sure I’m actually making money and not losing it.
